The Phuguri plantation is located near the Kanchenjanga mountain chain and produces extraordinary first and second flush quality teas. The leaves are large with a classic beautiful first flush appearance and have many silvery tips. When brewed it gives a bright orangey cup in appearance with a highly aromatic scent. The unique flowery and spicy character is a delight.

A fine second flush Assam from the Towkok tea Garden. Towkok means Dancing Tortoise in the old Indian language of Tai. The original Towkok plantation, dating back to the late 1800s, was on the banks of the Towkok river which was said to be full of dancing tortoises.
